Wireless power transfer (WPT) devices represent one of the most efficient and increasingly used technologies for data in near-field range. This work analyzes describes a new type device: ferrite-cored, variable gap, high-frequency system. The classic theoretical models existing literature communication (NFC) WPT have foreseen lumped-parameters characterization based on representation an equivalent circuit model (ECM). strict interdependence between different physical domains has clearly increased difficulty predicting behavior device, due to unwanted continuous chaotic variation parameters. proposed paper aims provide general reliable multi-physics co-simulation Spice®-based ECM analysis ESRF Radia®-based 3D finite volume methodology (3DFVM), placing particular emphasis intrinsic sensitivity with respect variables that cannot be directly controlled, such as air gap coupled coils interfaces. Furthermore, this outlines detailed effective experimental estimation static dynamic electro-magnetic parameters validation numerical both time frequency domain, through real device.
